From Rivals in Gridlock to Champions of a Stronger, Smarter Grid
The Earthshot Foundation’s synthesis of a year of GridIron dialogue among more than 200 grid practitioners.
Earthshot Foundation
In brief
Chase Weir and Mariko Geronimo Aydin of the Earthshot Foundation condense what more than 200 practitioners surfaced across a year of GridIron dialogue, held under the Chatham House Rule, into a synthesis of findings. The paper is non-partisan and deliberately not a position paper: it frames electricity abundance as a collaborative objective and works through the grid from fuel supply to delivery to customers and customer energy management, toward a whole-grid strategy. Its key finding is that the industry sits at a tipping point between two self-reinforcing dynamics, and that abundance requires coordinated action across every part of the grid. Arushi is listed among its contributors.
Key points
- 01A synthesis of a year of off-the-record dialogue among more than 200 practitioners, not a position paper.
- 02Electricity abundance as a positive, collaborative objective.
- 03The industry is at a tipping point; abundance needs coordinated action across the whole grid.
