Turning an outdated grid into ‘prosperous infrastructure’
On GridX’s With Great Power, Arushi tells Brad Langley why the best way to restore consumer trust in the power sector is to build a better grid.
GridX

In brief
At Tesla, Arushi convinced Texas regulators to let a 100-megawatt battery connect to the grid, then to launch a virtual power plant program. More recently, she saw through new ERCOT rules that let data centers connect to the grid much faster in exchange for becoming grid assets. On season 7, episode 6 of With Great Power, she tells Brad Langley about her vision for prosperous infrastructure and her recent work with Texas regulators, the startups she supports through Luminary Strategies, and how she sees AI changing the power sector. Without those startups, she says, consumers’ trust in the grid can’t be restored.
